Be here from the beginning.
Permanent rewards for the people who play, contribute and help Embercast grow.
The reward program is planned and enrollment is not open yet. You can download and play for free now. Signup does not reserve a numbered place. We will announce when qualification opens.
Joining early
When the program opens, verify your account email and complete a verified online match against another player. Your joining phase and your place among the first players are recorded separately.
Your place is assigned when qualification is verified. Computer opponents, unfinished matches and imported replays do not count. Earlier testers will be reviewed using their existing play records.
| Joining phase | Exclusive pack | Later packs included |
|---|---|---|
| Founding Alpha | Founding outfit, braided pull effect, gold-diamond keepsake and Founding Alpha title | Every later pack |
| Community Alpha | Alpha flight trail, lantern charm and Alpha Pioneer title | Ranked Alpha, Beta and Launch Season |
| Ranked Alpha | Alpha goal celebration, arena medallion and Ranked Alpha title | Beta and Launch Season |
| Beta | Robe trim, enamel charm and Beta Explorer title | Launch Season |
| Launch Season | Launch ribbon and Launch Season title | None |
Later packs arrive automatically as they release. You will not need to repeat quests or claim each pack. A closed joining pack never returns for later arrivals. Buying something cannot change your joining phase.
A permanent place
Population rewards recognize the First 1,000, First 10,000 and First 100,000 eligible players. They are separate from joining phases. Someone can be among the First 1,000 without being a Founding Alpha player.
Earlier players receive later population packs when those packs release. You can keep your most specific title equipped. Places are never renumbered or reopened when an account leaves.
A separate Discord series will recognize the first 1,000, 2,000 and 3,000 eligible members to link their game account and verify membership during that campaign. Discord recognition does not take a game-population place.
Make your title shine
Your title starts at Common. Complete these quests for increasingly colorful, glowing treatments of the same title. The numbers are cumulative totals, so earlier progress counts.
- Common
- Qualify for early-player recognition.
- Uncommon
- 10 completed human matches, 3 different opponents and 1 feedback submission.
- Rare
- All Uncommon requirements, verified Discord membership and 1 reviewed shared clip.
- Epic
- 25 matches, 5 opponents and 3 feedback submissions, plus the Discord and clip requirements.
- Legendary
- 50 matches, 10 opponents and 5 feedback submissions, plus the Discord and clip requirements and participation in 1 organized playtest.
Critical feedback counts. Repeated copies of a submission do not. A shared clip is reviewed for a valid gameplay contribution, not likes or positive sentiment. Playtest participation requires registration and at least one completed human match during the event.
Once earned, your upgrades stay yours, including after you leave Discord. Cosmetic rarity does not change gameplay, and it is separate from competitive rank and tournament honors.
A place in the credits
Complete any one of these routes before the recognition window closes:
- 100 verified completed human matches against at least 10 opponents.
- Five accepted, actionable feedback reports.
- $25 in dedicated optional support.
Support is not required. Shop and currency purchases do not count toward this route. Qualifying support excludes tax and reflects refunds. The support checkout is not open yet.
Your credits entry preserves your joining phase. Choose a public display name only if you want to appear. You can edit or hide it later without losing your earned status.
Time to earn it
Joining windows close when their phase actually ends. We will give at least 14 days’ notice and will never bring an announced cutoff forward.
Once you qualify, the upgrade and credits window stays open through the actual end of Season 1, currently targeted for September 15, 2027. Dates on the roadmap are targets and may move as the game develops.
Reward art shows the planned direction. Final items will be shown in the game before release. All rewards are cosmetic. Competitive titles must be earned through competition.
